Jesús Soengas

The passion of Jesús for the United Nations Model begun at the beautiful city of Caracas when he was fourteen years old.

Living in a country where the political situation was complicate and where the Human Rights violations were a common thing led hin to participate in different initiatives for the political and social reconstruction of Venezuela.

This is how the dreams of democracy and freedom of Jesús brought him to Spain where he is studying fourth year of law at the University Carlos III of Madrid. In his alma mater he was the Delegate of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences representing and defending the rights of all students.

In 2016 Jesús certified by the Harvard Kennedy School on the Leadership, Organization and Action: Leading Change program. His passion have made hin participate in more than 30 MUN's all around the world being delegate, chair, staff and obtaining different awards, including many Best Delegate Awards for his great work.

The past year, Jesús decided to found the American Students Asociation of the UC3M to promote the inclusion and the cultural exchange. He also participated as President of the General Assembly for the first edition of OEA's Model 2019 the past year.

With the awesome team for this OEAS MODEL 2020 edition, Jesús wants to invite you to participate in this great experience and to always work to have a better world.

Sonya Stephanie Janet Guevara Sosa

Sonya Stephanie Janet Guevara Sosa is 23 years old; she lives in Chimbote - Peru, and studies Law and Political Science at the National University of Santa. She is founder and president of the Laws and Sciences for Humanity's Institute "A Pári Mun".

She competes in United Nations Models since 2017. She has participated in different Models in Peru, being winner of the Best Judge Award in the International Court of Justice of the UNM of the Piura's University - 2018. In addition, she has been Deputy Director of the same Model in 2019. She has also participated in moot courts of International Human Rights Law at the Buenos Aires's University and at the United Nations - Geneva, and won the Best Memorial award. She is certain that she will meet the expectations of the OEA's MODEL 2020, and that the delegates will bring great contributions to the problems raised.

Olga Lyapkina

Olga Lyapkina graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in international relations

from the School of World Politics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is going to continue her education in the field of international business administration at Charles III University of Madrid. Olga was involved in numerous extra activities, e.g., international scientific conferences, student clubs, and intra- and inter-university events. Furthermore, every year she took part in UN Models as a delegate, an expert, a vice-president and a conference organizer. Olga wishes the OEA's Model 2020 to become a potent platform able to promote fresh ideas and practicable decisions to address the regional challenges.
